“The home is our corner of the world. It’s our first universe, a true cosmos.”
Drawing inspiration from this quote by French philosopher Gaston Bachelard, Claire Fahys’s Cosmos explores the profound and sacred intimacy of space. Her oil paintings traverse two interconnected worlds: the timeless beauty of natural landscapes, imbued with ancestral mysteries, and the quiet elegance of Parisian interiors, which serve as sanctuaries of reflection and warmth.
In her work, the interior and exterior spaces become vessels of introspection, merging memory and present, solitude and connection. Each brushstroke captures the fleeting play of light and the soul of a moment, creating a dialogue between personal experience and universal resonance.
Fahys’s paintings will be exhibited alongside Hauvette & Madani’s design collection, deepening the interaction between art, design, and lifestyle. This dialogue continues the Series exhibitions’ overarching mission to reimagine the interplay of creativity and lived spaces, sparking reflections on the intimacy and memory of the environments we inhabit.
A New Chapter for Collaborative Curation

With this exhibition, A Women’s Art Association affirms its commitment to nurturing a virtuous ecosystem for women in the arts—supporting not only artists but also curators, designers, and other creative professionals. By facilitating visibility, networking, and opportunities for collaboration, the association aims to foster a holistic environment where every woman in the art world can thrive.
